I pretty much despise the hip hop that’s been coming out lately shit like Flo Rida that’s been coming out lately. But there is a hope. Dr. Dre’s long awaited Detox album and Eminem’s return are supposed to come out sometime this year, so hopefully that will change things for the better. This track from Eminem just leaked, check it out and see what you think, I don’t think it’s anywhere near his best though.

Here’s a great project which mashes up Radiohead and Jay-Z to create the aptly named Jaydiohead. This was done last year by DJ Minty Fresh Beats (what’s with it with producers with crap names remixing Radiohead?) and is extremely well put together. It just changes the Radiohead songs enough to make them refreshing – he basically slides some hip hop beats under them, while laying Jay-Z’s classic raps over the top. Highly recommended as a way to get into Radiohead if you never did.
